Contract Signing Process
The agreement was initiated after HITS attended the AACR (American Association for Cancer Research) conference in April, the world’s largest cancer research event. During the conference, an MD Anderson medicinal chemist watched a presentation on HyperLab at the HITS booth, showed immediate interest, and signed up on the spot.
Following the event, MD Anderson finalized an annual subscription for HITS products in June and officially signed the contract.
Affiliated Department: Molecular and Cellular Oncology
Position: Associate Professor
Location: Houston, Texas
Contract Details & Expected Impact
A standout aspect of this partnership is that MD Anderson has agreed to explicitly mention HITS in its experimental results and actively support promotional efforts.
Securing a contract with a prestigious institution like MD Anderson is more than just a business deal—it enhances HITS’ global credibility and serves as a stepping stone for further collaborations with top-tier research institutions. In international academic conferences, having high-profile clients significantly strengthens brand recognition and opens doors to new partnerships.
Future Plans
HITS is accelerating its global expansion strategy and will participate in the ISMC (International Symposium on Medicinal Chemistry) in early September in Europe, aiming to build stronger international connections and expand its global footprint.
The company is also leveraging multiple marketing channels, including YouTube, blogs, and its official website, to maximize outreach. In a unique turn of events, a professor from Dongguk University discovered HITS through YouTube, became a passionate HyperLab user, and even offered to create an English promotional video voluntarily.
According to Seulgi Jeon, Head of Marketing, the biotech industry thrives on peer recommendations. For instance, HITS hosts quarterly webinars, and nearly half of the attendees join through referrals from existing users. Similarly, many international users sign up after receiving recommendations from colleagues.
HITS places great emphasis on meticulously analyzing its user base, demonstrating a deep commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs. This customer-centric approach is one of the key reasons Laplace Partners strongly believes in HITS’ bright future.
HITS’ journey to securing its first international contract with MD Anderson is more than just a business deal—it’s a testament to the power of vision and persistence.
What started as a chance encounter at a small booth has now led to a landmark agreement, proving that dedication and perseverance can drive global recognition.
We’re excited to see HITS continue to grow and push new boundaries, and we invite you to be part of this incredible journey.
